Some. Not all. A lot depends on the circuit, the components, and the PCB. For some boards you can find many/most/all of the connections simply by looking at the board. For others it is a waste of time because too many of the connections are inaccessible, such at the connections to a BGA typically are.

What kind of circuit is on the PCB that you are trying to reverse engineer?
