i need help to calculate H(w) for band pass and band reject filters

Well you know that H(w) for a low pass filter is a rect. If you wanted an H(w) for a band pass filter, its going to be a rect without the lower frequencies (a rect minus a smaller rect). For a band reject filter, it's the same concept. A rect (probably of infinite width) minus a smaller rect at the band you want to block.

 

Do you have a particular circuit in need of analysis? If so, can you post it?
