what is the inductance of a 5-mH inductor and a 7-mH inductor connected in parallel?

need exact answer in SIMPLE TERMS if possible!!!

thanks

Assuming there is no MUTUAL inductance, the inductance of parallel inductors is the same as for parallel resistors: 1/(1/L1 + 1/L2)

The answer is that you are expecting us to do your homework for you.

I haven't seen any of your own working in this or your other thread.

Nor am I impressed by your short form English.

You received a full numeric answer to your last homework question, but I see no thanks, only complaint.

If you are seriously studying basic circuits you could work out some of the arithmetic for yourself. This Forum is entitled 'Homework - Help', not 'Do my Homework For Me'

For two inductances in parallel it is, like resistances, "product over sum".

As for general conduct, I concur with studiot's sentiments. Buck up.

Think about it what happens if you parallel capacitor they add right ? know invert that. and you got the unswer simple isn't. forget about strays these is homework.
