I am creating a project that uses a arduino uno board, it has a DHT 11/22 that collects the temp. The LEDs blink in correspondence to the temp ranges. The LCD should display a message but it is being overloaded some how. The message that I am getting is that the current through backlight is 23.7kA while max is 20.0 mA.I burned/ melted on and I would not like for that to happen again. Can someone give me some advice on how to reduce the current going through. I have uploaded the circuit. Any help would be appreciated.

You can't run the back light like that you need a 120 resistor on the anode side pin 15 or on pin 16 but one of those needs one.
