No, that does not mean I am packing my toys and going away. You are not that fortunate. It is time for what my wife calls my annual "Ron Trip". This means I load the truck with clothes and head down to Florida to see old friends I grew up with in NYC. Some friendships going back 55 years or so. Then on my return I visit friends in NC plus any stops wherever I end up. Years ago I would always take my laptop and then it was the tablet. During recent years I took them and never opened them and discovered I liked it that way. I do send Kathy, my wife an occasional email using my phone but that is about it. Looking forward to old friends and cold beer. Anyway if I am absent from any threads I was active in it does not mean I fell off the planet or went away pissed at anyone or anything. For any of you going on vacation enjoy and be safe.

Nice you keep in touch with old friends. I have lost touch with most of my old friends over the years. They sort of filter away to various parts of he country.
