Yep, I just don't like to rile up the politically correct, tree hugging econazis by admitting to it... We had to give up mercury thermometers in our quality control labs because cleaning up and reporting mercury spills is a royal pain due to OSHA and the EPA. Then paid horrendously to have them disposed of in a hazardous waste landfill. I worked my way through college for a few years as a welder/fitter breathing all kinds of noxious fumes that were never banned with no discernable ill health effects. We live in a very different world today than the one I was raised in. And I am way off subject again... sorry...

I just ordered a replacement shrader valve for my well pressure tank. It came with a California Prop 65 warning. I guess they're worried about lead leaching from brass products that have been used for generations.

Maybe the ones that wrote that law should go and have the mercury amalgam removed from their teeth. We were told in some college psychology class that Dentists have one of the highest suicide rates and it was attributed to handling mercury. Didn't seem to be a problem for folks working with electrolytic salt cells that used mercury for it's anode or cathode (can't remember which).

Having a 3D printer is a good idea to make your own designed inboxes.
you can also make them mountable to wall by 3D printed brackets and stands for the instance.
