....Capture -> Select a Capacitor or Resistor -> CIS (Property Editor) -> Parts List Tab

1) What does "ID" stand for
2) Which help document (e.g. pspcref.pdf) has such information?

Thanks

Tom,

I do see the field you are speaking of, and, according to Orcad's help files, the field is an inherent field. However, I am a regular Orcad user (schematic to PC layout; don't use it for simulation) and have never had to use this field. What are you trying to do with Orcad? Are you experiencing problems due to this or are you just curious?

Chris

Hi Chris

Thank you for your reply.

I was just curious.

1) Incedently what did you type in the help to find out the information or which help pdf did you look at?

2) I do not know if you or anybody else could help me with another query - please

OrCad PSpice - WIDTH/MIN-HIGH?

I have a circuit comprising of:

i) DSTM1 - digital stimulator (Offtime=1S, Ontime=1S, Delay=(blank) ,Startval=0, Oppval=1)

ii) CD4017A - U1

Circuit connection:
DSTM1 -> U1 pin 14 (CLK)
LO -> U1 pin 13 (CLKINHIBIT)
U1 Q3 (output) connected to U1 pin 15 (reset)

I simulate and get:
Simulation Time Message = Warning 5.0000s WIDTH/MIN-HIGH U1

Netlist is:
*******************************************************
* source LAB
U_DSTM1 STIM(1,1) $G_DPWR $G_DGND N00248 IO_STM IO_LEVEL=0
+ 0 0
+ +1S 1

What does "5.0000s WIDTH/MIN-HIGH U1" mean?

Thanks in advance.
