Second crane topples onto Florida home while trying to remove first fallen crane

View attachment 371707
There seem to be a lot of these crane topple stores recently. I don't know if it's because it's caught the media's attention, or if it's that there's always a cellphone around to take a picture and post it to the social media, or if the incident rate has actually gone up. Frankly, any of the three seem very plausible (and it may well be a combination of the three).

Or if there's a lack of qualified operators and they're mostly young and inexperienced ...

Florida Gambling Helpline Director Jailed for Embezzlement to Fund Gambling Addiction
According to the ODAAT Gambling Awareness interview, Sullivan had been in recovery from his gambling addiction for more than two and a half years. Despite that, he continued gambling in the hope of winning enough money to repay the funds he had stolen.
Doesn't sound too much like being in recovery to me.

He was probably trying to recover the money he had lost before ...
Doesn't sound like there was that kind of recovery, either! But I'm sure if he had just been able to keep playing, it would have all worked out, he was just having a cold streak, that's all.
