I've eaten a few snapping turtles I've caught and even some rattlesnake, frogs and alligator, but I think I'll leave the lizards and grubs for the special forces guys...

"After nearly six years of fighting ... I will once again be able to legally plant vegetables in my front yard," Ricketts said in a statement. "I'm grateful to the Legislature and the governor for standing up to protect my freedom to grow healthy food on my own property."

She lamented that the fight even had to happen. "We had a beautiful, nutritious garden for many years before the Village went out of its way to ban it and then threatened us with ruinous fines," she said.

Paramedics and the Boca Raton Police Department responded. Police say someone hired to shoot and kill iguanas in the Parkside neighborhood, hit a pool worker instead with a pellet gun.

"We have iguanas everywhere. If neighbors are going to be like the Wild West and shoot at everything someone is going to get killed."
I think they eliminated the iguanas in the Parkside neighborhood.

I thought that was an old article as I have seen that before. Apparently, the guy in Florida can't read or he would have known that stunt doesn't end very well when you pull a real cop over. There was a law passed in Alabama in the 70s that you don't have to pull over for an unmarked car because of one of those yahoos stopping women and assaulting them.

Morrison was living in a tent outside of the Godfrey Street home, according to the homeowner.

Deputies say on Saturday morning he entered the home without permission and threw the string of lit firecrackers under the sleeping child's bed.

The homeowner then chased Morrison out of the home with a stick, according to deputies.

When deputies took Morrison into custody they found two grams of methamphetamine in his pocket. He is charged with child cruelty without great harm, burglary and possession of a controlled substance.
