i've to design a circuit able to use dc component of ac biased voltage in order to power two different kind of load (ac load as lamp and a dc one).


what kind of circuit could be used to do the job?

You need to better specify what the loads are, and their operating current.

 

What component can you think of that can pass the effects of AC while blocking DC? What is the frequency of the AC component you are using? What component can you think of that will pass DC while opposing the flow of AC? How smooth do you need the DC to be?
This seems to be homework related, so give YOUR ideas and we can go from there.
