I 'm not sure I understand your question.

Could it be that you must decode the 4-bit number for use in a 7-segment display? In other words, re-build the 7447 IC.

In any case, you must show your work and efforts first, even if it's wrong, before we jump in and help you.

Hint: Start by writing the truth tables of each output (a-g) as a function of the data bits (A-D).

P.S. Use images to show your circuits. Not everybody can open a Multisim file.

 

what does object count have to do with your question?

 

I'm thoroughly confused.

Your first post talked about having to the question. What question? You haven't told use what problem you are trying to solve.

Then you talk about object counts but then talk about using LDR sensors but then post schematics with a 555 timer.

Take a step back and explain the problem you are being asked to solve.
