I have a switching power supply with a blown ntc. I want to replace it but don't know the mounting direction it should go. Any help would be awesome! :)

Thank you Nathan

hi usajet,
Welcome to AAC.
Usually a NTC of that type is not polarised [ any direction]
Have you determined what caused it to fail.

EDIT:

BTW: the symbol on the PCB could represent a MOV or VAR, are you sure it is a NTC thermistor.

It does appear to be in series with the input, looking at the tracks visible through the board, which would make an NTC more likely.

Are those two fuses really wired in parallel, as they appear to be?
That would be very strange.

Thank you Eric, Not sure of what caused this to fail. I'm sure it's a NTC.

Thank you Albert, Yes I thought it was strange to see the fuses like that. But I guess that's what you get with a cheap Chinese Power supply.
