Non working (and fake) LM35 are actually LM335 (working)

bought 5 of em some months ago on ebay china and leaved unused, once useful for a project they were not working and outputting an allarming voltage of 4 and more volts if powered with 5V, instead of 250mV at 25° celsius

the funny facts are that they work if used with the LM335 schematic (it requires a pullup resistor and it outputs temp plus 273 degrees (it's kelvin)) and accordingly to LM35DZ datasheet the DZ cannot go below 0° C while every LM335 can :rolleyes: (precision is slightly worse)

apparently they at least don't go "puf" if you try to use em as LM35

don't ask me how i know this infos (a guy erroneally swapped the two schemes on an image and i gave it a try)

yeah but this pictures REALLY exalted the surface imperfections... they are (actually) not more coarse on the surface than regular TO92 stuff... anyways the one pictured looks definitely scrached orizontally under a strong light
