aaah, ok well it might be little stupid but i draw it out in paint:

I had a small battery connected to the "always on" power lead to the deck which was disconnected when ps was turned on by a 2 way switch but its gone now since it got drained very quick (im thinking about using an alternative in form of a wallwart.... (this wiring result in "hum" on the monitor screen, that is when the monitor is grounded.)

ps the P ON is the 3 or 5 V DC lead from PS to turn it on...

 

Rifaa was asking to see your (LaZyLuke) wiring layout for your components. If your connections are improperly terminated, you can be picking up much interference.

I see that might explain why I was picking up a local radiostation through the aux input when the laptop PS was connected to the wall instead of 12 V PS lead :]

Well not to sound weird bu8t there is not much detail:

3.5mm from Laptop to HU AUX input, then every speaker is hooked up to each channel of the HU- one is currently not connected due to amp testing/fixing (different setup)- problem remains even if all 4 speakers are connected.... please let me know what other details you need,...

lil messy- I hope you can see that the cable from the left is the audio lead- connects directly to HU...i think its 1m long

nope- one BNIB, slightly used audio cable ;]

well not anymore- like i stated with this wiring there is no noise (if i crank the HU with no signal in there is a small hum for about 1/3 sec every 3sec but that's due to static noise produced by a laptop (I checked))- with this wiring the noise appears on the monitor (if monitor is grounded)... but yes there is no cuts or modifications on the cable....

But if you hear a noise then it will be the white noise generated by the low quality components in the amp and the hum will also be there due to the poor design of the preamp stages and improper filtering techniques, or leaky filter capacitors.

FYI the deck I'm using is a $500 Pioneer Premier- if I disconnect a laptop (no signal input whatsoever) the amp can be maxed out (100% volume) and I cannot hear anything... good deck I guess ;] (That is why I am building this setup and not buying a HT system- the deck has 6 channel time alignment and 24db/octave crossovers (LP, HP) for every 2 channels)

if i will connect the laptop PS to the wall socket (instead of to the computer PS that the deck is powered by) the noise will appear in the speakers..... if I connect the laptop PS to computer PS the noise will appear on the secondary monitor screen.... dont know how to make this more clear- I am in process of getting the isobar so I will see if that will help- if not I will just leave the ground lifted for the monitor because that way setup is perfect (I was running a whole computer bar: tower, 2 monitors, speaker system and additional gadgets, with no ground for over a year- never had problems.....)

 

Did you check grounding of all the units.

well, the PS is grounded and monitor is not (if it is- there is noise), nothing else is connected to the wall socket.... just these two
