I used to receive email alerts when there was a reply to a thread I was watching. For about 2 or 3 days I have had no email alerts, though there have been replies to watched threads.

If you ignore an alert, you done receive new alerts until you visit the page (by clicking on the alert). If you visit the page directly and bypass the alert system, your new alerts will be paused until you post again on that thread or visit through the alert system.

Visiting via alerts doesn't seem to restore emails. This is a new thread and I received no email for your reply here.

Click on your username on the right side of the header and make sure your "alert preferences" are set as you want them.

I have been exorcised - my emails are back
