Since a vehicles suspension has more travel in jounce(upward movement) than in rebound(downward) movement, what do you do about the potholes? Build a portable paving device to mount on your car? Potholes hurt cars way more than ice chunks ever will.Have you seriously never driven over a rock hard ice chunk that has fallen off of your car? I can garentee doing that is in no way good for your car unless that is you drive a truck.
I'm in the 'Million Mile' club as in having driven over a million miles in my lifetime now so yes I have driven over solid rock hard ice chunks with my vehicles. Several of the cars I have owned had less than 4 inches of ground clearance and it still was not something I ever saw as a problem.Have you seriously never driven over a rock hard ice chunk that has fallen off of your car? My car is completley fine the main reason for this is the garage floor being cleaner. Its the same novelty as having a heated rear windsheild because you can always scrape it off before you drive (just like you can always kick them off manually) The reason im fixated on this is because i have no knowledge in electronics and what better way to learn is there than experimentingI'm in the 'Million Mile' club as in having driven over a million miles in my lifetime now so yes I have driven over solid rock hard ice chunks with my vehicles. To be honest I have even hit the big ice blocks that have fallen off of semi trucks while going at highway speeds too. It's a non issue unless you have a really crappy car. .![]()
