Does anyone know of a link that explains state space very good, How to choose state equations ect. I have multiple text books that seems to skip the step I am stuck at.

Most people learn that heuristically.

If you post examples and show your work, people can guide you on how to solve that particular problem. There are many tricks you learn with experience, and most you can figure out yourself.
