Dear All,

I want to know what does these trimmer do (picture attached) w1, w2, w3 & w4. This control board is from Needle detector machine. One engineer told me these are for sensitivity increase / decrease but i didn't understand completely.


Kindly someone explain me in detail.

Or, in other words, it is impossible to tell what they do just by looking at the board. With a schematic it might be possible. The problem there would be that large IC which I suspect is a custom programmed microcontroller and what that does would still be unknown.
