    Hi all,

I wanted to ask, what is that copper plate in the attached pictures called? I need to find this part but couldn't get any result from random googling. It is a copper spring that acts as a separator between the LCD screen and the PCB, back to back.

    Appreciate the help a lot!

FWIW it's akin to 'finger stock' (q.v.)

Yes, about the purpose of the finger stock, not as a separator, but something like a ground or shielding

Indeed -- It is often employed where establishment of an inter-assembly 'plane' is desired...:)
