CamScanner 09-11-2022 09.05.jpgHI,
I have created a timer with 4060 and 4017 ic. To turn a relay for specific time. I want a trigger signal for this relay at pin# 12 of the 4060 ic. I have a dc supply of 12 volt. I want to convert this continous dc to a single pulse. Here is the schematic. If 555 or simple components like transistor are used for this purpose it will be easy for me.

So we don't make assumptions:
1. How long do you want the relay energized?
2. What is the part number of the relay?
I do not want a relay with 555 timer, I have shared a circuit of 4060 timer, 4060 circuit stops when it has counted its time, the relay is attached with 4060 circuitry. It only starts again when a pulse is applied at its pin#12, the supply of 555 time should reset the timer only. The supply of 555 will come from output of this circuit Battery Voltage Monitor with LM339

The circuit triggers a pulse, but it is generating a approx 2.3 volt pulse and is not triggering the reset of 4060 pin#12.
What is the supply voltage feeding the 555?
BTW the link to that LM339 Battery Monitor is not correct it only shows the 4060 circuit.

Actually for testing purpose i was using 9 volt battery, but i was also missing something, connecting the grounds of 2 circuits. Well thanks for the great circuit.
