Hi all... I'm new here and just had a question to ask about wiring a photocell switch. I included a spec sheet on the part in PDF format. What I'm trying to figure out is what size resistor to use on the circuit. It will be pulling 24v dc and i am a complete noob on electronics. This is going on an automated sewing unit. Thanks for any help you may have. I've also included a pic of the pin setup on the plug as well. Any questions I'm here to answer.

Welcome to AAC.
Checking the photo cell datasheet it states 10Vdc to 30Vdc operating voltage, so if connected to a 24Vdc source it does not need a resistor.

Thank you for your response. That part had me confused. Wiring electronics is not something I'm very familiar with to much degree. We are trying to automate a process here and no-one here has messed with this stuff before. You were a big help thank you so much.
