To find out the difference, you really need to look at the manufacturer's datasheet. They can differ from one manufacturer to another.Would a 2N7002 be o.k to use in place of 2N7000 ? For both Q & Q2 ?

ONSemi 2N7000 max power dissipation is 400 mW. Continuous drain current is 200 mA.
ONSemi 2N7002 max power dissipation is 200 mW. Continuous drain current is 115 mA.
Don't get fixated on the 2N7000. It is stated as obsolete by some manufacturers. I used it only because I have it on hand in TO-92 package. There are thousands of MOSFETs in SMD package that will do the job.
