I have a AC 24V 3A 100VA (not 75VA as you would expect) It's a Japanese circuit so maybe why it is rated at 100VA anyway it is and I was wondering if anyone could give me help in selecting a varistor to replace/substitute the old one as it blew (did its job but burn't out);?
The old one is a 1980's vintage matsushita 470K 411 MOV or maybe a zener diode as motherboard indicates as ZDn - which usually denotes Zener Diode but Varistor could be [looks like] what they used.
(see picture - note this is another of same make on same PCB - blown one is unreadable)
Would this one (link below) suit it or can you suggest specs (component number) for one that would.

Thanks
