Hi,
I am fitting LED lights from a newer model car into my older model car.
The fog light supply on my car shows 4v when off and 12v when the fog light is on.
With the newer lights fitted in my older car the fog lights flicker constantly when they are supposed to be off (as they are always getting 4v).
Can I use a zener diode so that the lights don't get any voltage from my car wiring until the fog lights are switched on? so at 4v they get nothing, but when the voltage is increased to say 8v they turn on?
Thanks,
Mark.
