Hi!
Can someone help me identify what kind of fuse this is?
Its in a battery circuit board for a 18v milwaukee rocket light.
Ive tried an 5A 63V ac/dc fuse but it broke as soon as i plugged in the power lead.

Hello,

What is the size of the fuse?
For a fuse with code V i could only find 0.75 Amp.
It seems to be from bourns.
See this page for some datasheets:

If an 5 Amp fuse breaks, there is something shorted.

The fuse is 3,5mm x 1,7mm. Ive looked for a short but couldnt find any. The light worked fine with the 5amp fuse when i tried with battery only.
And it still works with the power lead even though the fuse is gone.
Could there still be a short somewhere?
