I don't know what your sexual persuasion is Mitch. Frankly I don't really care and it should not matter anyway.

I will tell you that I am straight and if a woman I just met called me her soul mate, I would go running for the hills. If it was a guy I just met, that did this, I would go as far as moving to another city.

If a long term male friend of mine called me his soul mate, I would question the fact that we should still be friends.

Maybe it is just me and I am not open minded as others but being called a soul mate from someone other than a woman that I have been in love with for at least several months would make me feel extremely uncomfortable.

 

Don't scare him! He's just young and optimistic, that's all!
