I like stacktrashing techniques too, for those times when their benefits outweigh the problems.

There's not many people these days coming up with clever assembler tricks (like you are), it reminds me of the good old days of the PIClist circa 1998 or so. These days most of us are trying to churn out commercial projects in C and nobody cares about saving a few instructions or a few uS anymore... It's a real shame.

I love assembly. I've put together 10,000 line applications (with no bugs!) in as little as two weeks. Obviously, having a large library of code helps!
