I have eliminated the requirement for WiFi. The nodes are close enough that hardwiring them into a simple 1Gb switch satisfies my need.
The audio from nodes in a scene or zone can be mixed with a standard mixer. The mixer output can be sent to two Bluetooth transmitters, that connect to two DSS receivers in the zone.
An area of 5,000 sq. ft. will contain 10-12 scenes or zones. So the above mixed topology will just be repeated.
