Hi Everybody,

When I open the MPLAB IDE V.92, the red circled areas in the attachment are empty. They were not like that before. How can I make the program show them? Thx.

 

That looks like you have opened a program file without making a project. For example, this window:

only shows in a project and gives the options Release or Debug for your build.

As for the project tree, I don't usually have it show in the program window (it is in a separate window), but it seems reasonable that unless you have an active project open, that tree would not show.

I use MPLAB 8.92 , but I do not us C. I must apologize if these comments are completely off base.

Those places are blank as they refer to the current project(s) and/or workspace.

So you need to either create one/some or load existing project(s) and/or workspace.
