Motorola T5422 PTT from headset

Hi all!

I've got a Motorola T5422 hand held radio and I'm trying to connect it to an Autocom bike intercom system

I'm trying to work out who the PTT headset works on the T5422 so I can make an interface lead.

Does anyone know how these radios work their PTT function? The T5422 just has a 2.5mm stereo jack plug to connect the headset. I know it's possible as Motorola supply a PTT headset for this model.
