Motorola MBP853 Connect Baby Monitor Help

Hii everyone!

This is my first post and very new to electronics so looking for some assistance. I have an MBP853 Baby Monitor and the power button stopped working. After researching it online it turns out that the solder wasn't placed properly and the power button would come disconnected. Aside from that everything works fine. I managed to get the power button soldered back on however now my Battery is not being acknowledged. Is it possible I may have fried something to do with the battery? The battery was not connected when I soldered and it always worked perfectly and held a charge prior to me soldering. Just wondering if there is something I may be missing or if anyone has any insight. Attached are pics of the circuit board. Sorry for having to piece them together there are wires connected so I am unable to capture all in one shot.
