I'm trying to find out what the most popular cell phone antenna is on the market and what all its specifications are (as well as manufacturer etc... hopefully not too proprietory). I have a feeling this would be the iPhone 4 antenna. Any help?

Sorry, let me rephrase...

Let's say I want to pick a given mobile device like the Motorola Zine ZN5 and want to know all of the parameters and specifics of its antenna. I'd like to determine these parameters via measurement as well as by something from the designer (equivalent to a data sheet)... how would I go about doing all this?

You may be able to open it (mobile) up and find some type of mfg's information on the antenna which may lead you to more information. However, antenna systems may contain multiple components and development is expensive and thus usually considered proprietary. You are not liklely to find much published by Motorola.
