I am developing a circuit to be used as an accessory with a PIC or microprocessor which should be fairly universal. I want to develop and include sample software which would include driver style routines as well as examples that show it's use. I would like to create such software for several different devices, perhaps three or four for starters and more later if it is successful.
So far, I have it working with the PICAXE 8 and am working on the code for an Arduino Uno. What I want to know is what other devices should I consider including in the software list? I guess this boils down to a list of the most popular devices in this world. But some variety in the types would also be in order. Any information on the popularity of the various devices would be appreciated.
