Want to read RS-232 data from a NMEA sig genertor into Arduino UNO using A4 & A5 pins and write the data sentences to a text file. Am I looking for the impossible?

E! Thank you. I now believe I didn't know exactly what I was looking for. I now have the NMEA sentences where I want them. Only a neophyte when it comes to serious programming - but fun none the less.
