Moments Filmed Seconds Before Disasters

While some of them were definitely worthwhile (the last one being very pretty, to boot), I don't get what the "disaster" was in many of them. Someone cutting the restraining rope of a bungee jumper is a disaster? A lizard startling a shopkeeper is a disaster? A tree falling and hitting nothing and that wouldn't have hit the truck if it hadn't moved, is a disaster? A train passing by someone is a disaster? A gal walking out, seeing a black bear, and going back inside is a disaster? Cars sliding on a slick road and not hitting anything is a disaster? Someone taking a mannequin from a porch is a disaster? A gal doing a cartwheel into the water and then getting out is a disaster? I guy getting startled by thunder while he's unlocking his front door is a disaster? And, as usual with these videos, the teaser frame of the F-15 buzzing the backyard gathering (and that is clearly faked) is not included.

That teaser frame, though - if it were real - would've definitely been a disaster; at a bare minimum, those guys in the backyard would be dead.

In reality (besides the wondering if such a plane could even skim that low, or if ground effect would be an issue, etc) - I'm not sure what would all happen, but it wouldn't be good (also, that plane looks a bit small - one thing I recall from an airshow I went to, was just how large military planes actually are).

Oh, it could definitely skim that low (if it weren't for the likelihood that to get in that position, in that attitude, that it would have had to fly through the house behind it). I've seen them fly in ground effect just three or four feet off the ground (before doing a 6 g pull into the vertical).

The scale of the plane actually appears pretty close. The height of the intake is right at four feet, which appears to match the height of the person fairly well. But several things, such as the shadows, are way off.
