Hello Forum,

I am trying to understand Modbus RTU Protocol. It seems to me that Modbus RTU is Master Slave based protocol, support addressing mechanism like I2C.

I think The Master identifies slaves through unique addresses assigned to each device on the Modbus network.

I want to know How does a Modbus RTU Master recognize and communicate with specific slaves on the network?
