Hello AAC!

Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but here it is.
I am hosting events where i want to use a 12 volt 150ah/10hout AGM battery with a 12V to 230V modified sinus inverter. This will power 4 LED tv sets that use around 170 watts in total. Is it necessary to ground the inverter? If so, how would i do that in an open space (walking street)? The screens will be held by 4 participants, in close proximity to the power source. The last thing i want to do, is to fry participants at my event!

Thank you

/Kasper

Generally these units are considered double insulated and fitted with a 2 pin power plug.
There should be no reason to reference to earth ground.

So i can connect the inverter directly to the battery, and use that as my power source with no risk? Without having to connect the ground "screw" on the inverter to anything?

The output from the inverter is indeed a 2 pin plug.
