I was given a MIW S-120-12 power supply.

When I connected it to the power on the 12 Volt out put side I only got 4 Volts. I tried to adjust the voltage with the voltage adjust but it made no difference.

I stripped the unit to see if I could see anything obvious and found nothing.

I re soldered all the components on the 12 Volt side in case of a Dry joint. When I tested again the voltage was 9 Volts. I tried the voltage adjust and again it made no difference.

I have searched using google un successfully for a circuit diagram.

I would really appreciate getting this to work .

The switch is set to 220 Volts which is correct. I have re soldered the switch it in case of dry joints.

Still 9 Volt output and voltage adjust doing nothing

To be perfectly honest with you I have very little Knowledge with these power supplies. I was hoping to learn as I worked through fixing this. I will take some photos and send them

Hi The main Chip is a KA7500

KA7500 is a TL494, to upload pictures click on "upload file"or "manage attachments"
then select the ".jpg " image
