Q1. In what respect analog meter are superior to digital meters?
Q2. Compare various A.C. Voltage and current measuring instruments?
Q3. Significance of form factor?

 

Analog meters will allow me to instantly identify:

1) a capacitor that is charging when I check for resistance

2) pulses on the line when I check DC

For these two applications, I have found digital meters to be inferior.

hi,

based on my experience i believe neither of them has any considerable superiority. each has its own strenght and weaknesses. its just a question of when to use any of them. if you're into hobby electronics any of them will do.
