I am having trouble with a problem. The problem is to obtain the transition table as well as the flow table for the following circuit. I am given the following equations:
Y1 = x1x2 + x1y2' + x2'y1
Y2 = x2 + x1y1'y2 + x1'y1
z = x2 + y1
I came up with the following Transition table located in the attachment.
I am wondering if I did something wrong here because the third and fourth rows have the same exact states and outputs, which seems a little strange to me.
Then we are to create a primitive flow table which I have started but am unsure of a couple of things.
The table is also located on the attachment.
I understand that the primitive flow table shows one stable state per row. What I dont understand is how to fill out the rest of it. For example Row A, the stable state is A, the state next to that would be B for 01, and the state before it is 10, but in the column of 10 there are 2 stable states C and F, so how do I know which one to put there?
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks.
