MC1200-2.4 treadmill motor controller questions

I have used the MC-60 boards to run tool motors and one only needs a speed pot, the circuit being analog.

As far as I can tell the MC1200 is a line frequency SCR board but the speed input from the control console is PWM. There is mention of a 0 to 85% PWM signal.

Am I correct in thinking that I can't use an analog speed pot to run this thing?

Can anyone point me to a spec sheet/schematic for this item? How to determine/change the current limit? (Various different values are given in different places for the motor hp.)

Thanks for any guidance

I believe there is mods out there for using a 555 IC for PWM controller for it, I just have the schematic for the analogue version.
Manual for your ver below.
