There are a couple of newbies that have been allowed to post int the Market Place forum. I think the original intent for the rule is to deter people from coming here just to sell things. I think this is a rule that should be enforced.

I hik he rules were we up before any posting in the Marketplace started. Lookin back at the rules, I am guessing there was a fear that hundreds of items would be posted daily if there were no restrictions. It turns out, I see more tumbleweed and boarded up storefronts in the Marketplace sub forum than I see actual commerce. I wouldn’t mind seeing more activity of all sorts if it is monitored to make sure it doesn’t become an advertising hub.
