In what context does the "manchester timecode circuit" exist? This is not a term that I am familiar with although I've head of "manchester", "timecode", and "circuit" separately.

Hi,

I seem to recall that Manchester encoding was a non-return to zero scheme on magnetic media. The relationship of this to circuits and timecodes seems questionable.

Manchester Encoding is used extensively in LANs. It allows bit rate to exceed carier frequency. I typically stick to "level one" & "level two" (physical signal transfer structures), but I know a guy I can ask.
