Hey guys,
I want to design an analog manchester communication decoder/demodulator. I can't seem to find a lot of examples online, has any one of you done such a project ? Would someone have good references for such a circuit ?

Thank you for your response, yes I did. This website has great explanations however it does not talk about any circuit topolgies to decode manchester communication.

After detecting the first edge, you will notice that there is an edge appearing at 1 bit time intervals.
A falling edge is recorded as 0.
A rising edge is recorded as 1.

 

Note: Manchester decoders as far as I have seen have all been digital. Making an analog Manchester decoder would most likely be something completely new, difficult, and expensive.

 

There are many ways to do this. Here is one scheme I just created.
