I just logged in on a new computer, and whenever I go to forum.allaboutcircuits.com I am redirected to the orange page and in the right corner I am not logged in.
When I choose one of the forums, then I get to the blue forum and there I am logged in.
Any way to make the starting page appear blue again?

btw - there still exists a long time bug in the orange scheme (couple years now) where the right top corner indicates not logged in whereas in fact you are still logged in.

What is that supposed to do?

I just went out to the Home page (which is the hideous orange schema) and hit Ctrl-R and nothing happened at all. I'm using Chrome.

I was under the impression that we can't change the non-forum pages to anything other than the hideous orange. Would love to find out I'm misinformed.

I believe that you need to refresh the page - however that is done on your browser.

But what is refreshing the page when you are out on the non-forum side of AAC supposed to result in?

For me -- regardless of the browser -- I get content with the hideous orange schema.

Let me ask it another way.

Is anyone here able to actually view the non-forum side of AAC in the cool blue schema?

You need to be on the main forum page not the main page for the site. The site main page is still that hideous orange. ;) Ain't nuttin you can do about it aside hacking your browser.

The post was about a bug on the orange main page.....not showing you logged in on orange main page after doing so.

The solution is to refresh orange main page

It updates the browser to show that the user is online. This is not done when you first log in from the main page - at least not for everyone. Thus, it appears that you did not log in after your UN/PW.

I am not and I don't remember anyone ever saying that they can use vB 3.x Fluid outside of the Forum proper. Although, maybe somebody can.

BTW: I don't mind the eye-bleeding orange anymore...I can lean further back in my chair and still see...well, somewhat anyways.

Ctrl-R refreshes the page and reloads all cached contents. At least in IE and Firefox this still works.
