please i would like to know why someone should get electrocuted if he/she answers calls on his mobile near a power transformer/. high tension wire.

Unless "near" is defined as close enough to touch a conductor, and such contact takes place while answering, it can't happen. Otherwise, the mobile phone would have to have an output such that an ionization path formed. Since it puts out milliwatts vice megawatts, that won't happen. Sounds like an urban legend.

 

Maybe its a new hidden stratagy to let someone know that their minutes are about to run out!
