I am trying to simulate a simple transformer circuit in LTspice(300V to 500V) .I am getting the below error.



My Circuit is given below.Also please find the attached files.

 

Add a small resistor (1mΩ or less) in series with the primary winding.

 

V1 is a DC source. Transformers need AC.

May I know in that case what about DC DC flyback converters

 

what about DC DC flyback converters

They use transistors to generate the AC from the DC.
If you look up a circuit for them, you will see that.

Add a resistance value in the "series resistance" attribute field of L1.
V1 must be AC, or a "pulsed" DC, voltage source for L2 to produce an output.

 

Here you have a flyback simulation file.

 

Thank you very much for the flyback circuit.It is working fine.
I tired to make it multiple output,but same error is coming.
May I know where I went wrong.

Thank You.I made a mistake.I kept separate resistor in series with each inductor.

 

Even better - add the actual resistance of the transformer winding.

The DC is switched on and off to create what looks like an "AC" signal. The construction of a flyback converter is more complicated, and it must provide for a zero "DC" component across the primary.
