Looking to identify this threaded scope probe tip.

Hi All,

I have a Pocket Technologies LogicScope. It is a 2 channel LED logic analyzer. Works great but, one of the probe tips is missing. The tiny probe tip is not a friction fit, but actually threaded. There are no identifying marks on the probe or cables. The company that makes the scope is long gone. Replacing the probe is not so easy, the cable threads in to the probe head.

Any ideas about the maker of the probe, or perhaps a replacement?

Thank you,
Eric O

The threaded connector I see looks to be a Female 10-32 connector which uses a 10-32 thread. I have seen them used pretty extensively on Accelerometers. Here is an example of several accelerometers using 10-32 connectors.

Hi Ron,
Thanks, but not much help. I have all kinds of scope probes, and they all have tips that pull straight out, with a friction fit. The one I am trying to find has threads more like 0-72.

Hi Eric, then you got me. My first thought was 10-32 adapter probe. Looking again and close yes, that does seem to be a real fine thread. Oh well, hopefully this bump to the top will help.
