Hi all,

I'm having some trouble finding suitable connectors and hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. I'm looking for a 2.54 mm or 2.50 mm pitch connector (preferably through-hole) that supports:

Board-to-board (one side 90 degrees, one side 180 degrees)
Board-to-wire (compatible with crimp housing or prebuilt harnesses)
Total of at least 16 signal pins, ideally in 2- or 4-pin units (but open to other configs)

These connectors will carry low-level analog signals like:
Voltage sense (≤ 5V)
PT100 RTD sensor wires

I am looking for something with good signal integrity, firm mating, and ideally something suitable for mass production (low cost, reliable availability, not NRND/EOL).

I’ve looked at:
  • Molex KK 254 (no 90 degree)
  • Phoenix Connectors (no 180 degree connector)
  • Wurth (Only Board to Wire)

Does anyone have part numbers or proven combos that work for this kind of use? Maybe I overlooked a previously mentioned manufacturer.

Thanks in advance — any help is appreciated!

I really like this style from Tayda Electronics. Note that instead of being in the air, away from the board, the tab is flat against the board – this eliminates the problem of getting the connector square to the board.

Do note this changes the position of pin 1.
