I bought this router: TP-Link wa901nd and I want to know is it a good match for the ANT2409A, 6db version. How far will I catch the internet from?

Do you think this antenna actually works, and do you believe in long distance WiFi?

I would think that the number of people who believe the earth to be flat, far out number those who believe in long distance Wi-Fi.

Antenna construction can make a difference because quality of constituent
parts in antenna can vary wildly from one manufacturer to another.

Try before you buy is best option, if possible.

I have used the below (antenna on right) on a higher power wifi usb module to achieve > 1 mile.

Not that particular brand, but 2000 mW or more.

It is not possible to try, before I buy. If you can provide some models of the devices or links, it would be good.
